Picc line cover, waterproof picc line cover and other specialty cover sleeves

The "Picc" line sleeve and other specialty cover sleeves (colostomy, leg bag and overnight bag sleeves) have all been
created by Design For Your Life. These products were created by a registered nurse who has over the years treated
clients requiring long term intravenous therapy, indwelling catheters and colostomys. Medically, the "Picc" line is a
device which is inserted in the upper arm and is covered with a transparent dressing. Unfortunately, it remains
visable and is associated with a medical ailement, the urinary catheter bags and colostomy bags are sometimes
visable as well and again, associated with a private medical matter. The cover sleeves are an asthetically appealing
garment and are non-restrictive and safe to wear allowing individuals to wear clothing that they may otherwise
avoid wearing with the "picc" or other device being so obvious. The variety of styles and colours allow the client to
mix and match for every event including: casual, sport and dressy occassions. The benefit of not having a constant
reminder of an illness may also improve psychological wellbeing. As a nurse who has had the opportunity to meet
these clients, I am very excited to bring you these new products.
