Picc Line Covers

The "Picc" line sleeve and other specialty cover sleeves (colostomy, urinary leg bag , overnight urinary bag, trach cover and water resistant sleeves) have all been created by Design for Your Life.
These medical privacy sleeves were created by a registered nurse who has over the years
treated clients requiring long term intravenous therapy, indwelling catheters,
colostomys and trachs. Medically, the "Picc" (peripherally inserted central catheter), is a
device which is inserted in the upper arm and is tunelled into the lower part of
the superior vena cava, a transparent dressing covers the insertion site.
Unfortunately, it remains visable and is associated with a private medical
matter. The cover sleeves are an asthetically appealing garment and are
non-restrictive and safe to wear allowing individuals to wear clothing that they
may otherwise avoid wearing with the picc (peripherally inserted central catheter) or other device (ostomy, catheter or trach) being so obvious.
The variety of styles and colours allow the client to mix and match for every
occassion including: casual, sport and dressy events. The benefit of not having
a constant visual reminder of an ailment or illness may also improve
psychological wellbeing. As a nurse who has had the opportunity to meet these
